Deleting your profile. Only do this if you either have no golden keys or are willing to cheat them back in. There is no way to respec badass stats within the game itself. Badass stats, golden keys, and skins are stored in profile. NiteCyper NiteCyper 9, 33 33 gold badges silver badges bronze badges. James Johnson 1 1 gold badge 6 6 silver badges 16 16 bronze badges.
Nick Nick 31 1 1 bronze badge. It will reset badass rank. Eddy Eddy 1. That sounds like you're just deleting them To add to what others have put: The 5 badass rank choices will almost always be your 5 lowest ranks.
Nope, it's random. This is just selection bias on your part. It just looks like the RNG is picking your low stats. MBraedley : it's possible that there's some biasing towards the low levels Joe Then proof supporting the claim is required. MBraedley : that's not how evidence works I can provide proof that it's not your 5 lowest ranks, as I have one appear three times, so it's more like my 3 three lowest I don't know when it started Joe You're missing my point.
Extraordinary claims, like the one being made in this answer, need extraordinary evidence, which is not provided. Well it's not really extraordinary, but close enough. Was the experiment run thousands of times, with all the results recorded? Probably not. The assumption going in is that it's random with maybe a little bias to less selected perks.
But this answer doesn't provide evidence one way or another as to whether that assumption is correct. Demon Demon 1. This seems like a duplicate of Fythios's answer: gaming. So don't upvote it. You don't have to downvote it guys; it's still 'useful'. There is a way that will reset your profile. The only problem with using this method is that you will lose all unlocked skins and golden keys as well, and also any items in Claptrap's stash.
Still interested? Delete the profile. This file is where the BAR settings are stored. When you reload your character, the game will create a new profile. You will end up up with a bunch of unallocated tokens that you can re-allocate as you want. The BAR will not change, as this is calculated from your save file. It is probably a better idea to rename profile. That way if you don't like the results of having to start all over again with skins, you can take things back to what they were.
Now you get to find and unlock all those skins again Seeing as the game prevents you from "abusing" tokens for any single option, you really shouldn't need to, as you will continually earn them albeit slower than before, depending on much you already have. What I mean is, just because you now "know more about the game" doesn't mean you can distribute them as you wish. You will get blocked by the game from overly putting points into gun damage for example.
Very high level players will have their BAR pretty much evenly distributed, more or less - minus skills some pople just ignore and a few variable stats simply because they specced them more, but not overly noticably more than anything else. Point is, you are supposed to gradually and evenly raise all stats again, more or less.
So no matter how borked you think your BAR stats are, they are not and will even out in time. Can't do what I'm looking to do without a new profile, but I don't care enough to do that. Don't tell my friend! Yes, that will make him happy.

User Info: Aadrauni Maru Aadrauni Maru 9 years ago 1 I'm playing this game like mad, but I have a couch co-op friend who will be playing off and on.
Though I will use another character when playing with him, and though the badass bonuses aren't that large, I would like to try to stay around his "stat level" while we play. I know about the all-or-nothing toggle, but that's complete "meh". So, for those not off playing the game right now, anyone know if there is a way to reset badass tokens on a profile?

I dunno. I use a Mac. Bordertool2 is the Save Editor on the Mac side. Bordertool2 is perfectly capable editing the Profile. Caveat: Make a backup first!
Heck, just make a backup anyway, even if you're not planning on editing any of your saves or your profile. Last edited by Nakos ; 19 Dec, am.
